NewDiet

I have finally gotten myself motivated to start a new "diet." I made it up myself. I am calling it the 1000-1100 calorie diet. I have to eat sensibly, without going over 1100 calories a day. I have even made a list of things that get me in trouble if I eat them...

Cheese
Refills of Soda Pop at Restaurants
Sauces
Pasta
Loaded Baked Potatoes
Too Much Salad Dressing
Bread/Muffins/Biscuits
Fried Foods
Desserts

I can still eat out, like we so often like to do, but I need to eat more salad and veggies, and less of the "bad" stuff. I will stay away from the bread and biscuits and tortilla chips that restaurants keep loading you up on for free, and drink more water! I started today. I am trying to eat breakfast, snack, lunch, dinner, and another snack and stay within 1000-1100 calories. Can I do it? It is possible? Am I crazy? Maybe! If anyone has any weight loss tips, cooking tips, recipes, etc. they would like to share, don't be shy!

If I can do it - You can do it! I love to eat junk food and that is what gets us in trouble! Drinking plenty of water is number one! And of course exercising helps but I still don't.... I get up a million times a day at work to walk to the copier and the printer and that's about it. I need to get physical though! Gosh, that brings back an old soong - I feel like I need a sweat band and leg warners! LOL! :-)
