Our Life & Times

We are home from Vegas, and we are big losers!!!! Oh well. We did have a good time with our friends. We went to the strip and saw the lights and the fountains dance outside of the Bellagio. We did some shopping and watched a couple of bands play at our hotel. We ate the buffet at the Flamingo (all you can eat shrimp, crab legs, clams, mussels, prime rib, you name it they had it!)
Yum!

We are hearing rumors of yet another snow storm coming our way Thursday or Friday with the highs for the day barely reaching zero. I can't wait! (NOT!) I already had to go up to Konnor's school today to talk to his principal about the fact that they let the kids go outside to recess yesterday and there are still 3 and 4 foot snow drifts on their playground and don't you know Konnor came home soaking wet and cold. I was not happy. The principal just told me that they will continue to have the kids go outside and Konnor should just play basketball or something so he doesn't get in the snow. I was not pleased with the outcome of our discussion since I think letting the kids go outside and telling them they can't play in the snow is like handing them some candy and telling them they can only look at it but they can't eat it. Ugh!

So, anyway, I have to get busy looking for a job. My goal is to be working again by February. Wish me luck!
