Our Life & Times

Our weekend is turning out to be a pretty good one so far. Friday night and Saturday morning Konnor had football practice, and then after Saturday morning practice we went to the hobby store where Brian bought a new radio controlled airplane (that is his hobby and one day I will take some pics of his airplanes and post them on the blog...) Then we went to lunch at Taco John's (Brian's favorite place to eat), and then we went to the mall. Brian and I both got some new shoes and then we went to the jewlery store... I haven't mentioned this, but last year while getting ready to take Konnor's temp one night with an old-fashioned mercury thermometer it broke in my hand and ruined my wedding rings. I was able to take them to Kay Jewelers and they "vaporized" my rings and it took the mercury off of them for the most part. But I think the mercury weakened my rings and ever since I keep losing stones and breaking prongs on my rings. So, Brian bought me a new wedding set today. It is a princess cut 1/2 carat diamond solitare with channel cut diamonds on each side of it and a matching anniversary band with channel cut diamonds. I had to have it sized so I won't get them for about 10 more days. So, I am very excited and the rings are beautiful, THANK YOU HONEY!!!!!!!! :-)
Anyway, when we got done with the rings, we took Konnor to see the movie Invincible. It was really good! Then, we had to go to Walgreens and pick up some pictures I had printed and Konnor got some new remote contol cars for his allowance for the week, and our dog absolutely loved chasing the cars all over our living room! So, I am posting those pictures of Konnor, Brian and our dog, Aspen, playing with the cars. Tomorrow we are going to church in the morning, then we are going to see Brian's grandpa who just got home from the hospital today, and then we are going to go to youth group tomorrow night at church. Busy, busy, busy!
