Our Life & Times

Brian and Mom made it home Saturday for dinner. They drove from Savannah, GA to Columbia, MO in 1 day and then from MO to CO the next. Mom likes her new house and is excited for her furniture and things to make it here soon so she can feel more settled. She is learning her way around a bit. I have Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday off from work so I will take her tomorrow to set up a bank account, go to the post office, pay her rent, and change the utilities to her name. Mom tried to stay at her house last night and slept on our air mattress there, but it wasn't very comfortable for her, so tonight and until her furniture arrives, she will sleep in Konnor's bed and Konnor will sleep on the couch. I guess we are all making sacrifices, but once things start to fall into place for mom and she gets a job and learns her way around more, I think it will be great.
