Spirits in the Sky
Do you believe in spirits floating around here on earth? We had a yard sale yesterday. While we were sitting in the front yard, we saw a group of doves. My sister-in-law said they were supposed to be spirits from loved ones past. Then, we saw the most beautiful Monarch butterfly fly over our Aspen trees. Again, my sister-in-law mentioned that they too were supposed to be spirits of loved ones past. The butterly came back 5 or 6 times yesterday. I realized it would have been my Grandpa Davis's birthday. He would have been 83. I don't know if it was him or not, but it was a nice thought that it could've been him watching over us. Happy Birthday, Grandpa!

I have not heard of those being spirits... That is cool! Thanks for the learning experience....
Laura, after my grandmother died in 1984, there was a dove that stayed on our half of the duplex we lived in. My mom said it was her mom letting her know she made it. The dove hung around for several months, and I remember my mom feeding it, too. She also said that my grandmother went to see her at every house my mom lived in except the one in SC, and that's where we lived when she died. So my mom said grandmother was hanging around so she could see the place. I've always believed it. Really cool that your grandpa was able to be at your yard sale!
