No Fear

Having a fearless kid could be a good thing or a bad thing, depending on how you look at it. However, in this case, I feel proud that our son can stand in line by himself on Saturday at Six Flags in Denver and ride scary, upside-down rides while his dad and I and his friend, Adam, stand outside the ride cheering him on. It's not that Konnor hasn't experienced enough life in his 10 years to be fearful of some things, but he chooses not to let his fears stand in the way of more exciting experiences. Sometimes I wish I could be more like that.

We are going to Six Flags in Atlanta soon and, like you, I will be watching and not riding. Mason will ride on any ride, as long as he is tall enough.
